Daniel Pink asked a question to our English classes- "If you had to create a new school -- or reform your current school -- so that it better develops the six senses, what one or two things would you do?"
If I could reform a school so it better develops the six senses, I would make several changes. First of all I would repaint all the classrooms to light colors, such as peach, tan, Periwinkle, and yellow. I believe that if the classrooms were painted different colors, then the kids would concentrate, and feel relaxed in a cool environment. I would add laptops to all the classrooms, so kids could learn on the laptops, and expand their own technological world. Now there are so many things that I would want to change, that it becomes hard to choose what to add. But I would probably end up adding more classes that kids choose themselves. That way kids are put in charge of their learning, and they feel more excited to learn in an environment that they chose themselves. Sometimes just the smallest changes can make the biggest difference in a child's life, that effects his or her learning.
